I'm Candela
“We take photos as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone”. I remember reading this years ago and it really resonated with me.
And why do I take photos? For the memories, for the legacy. To reminisce and smile thinking of a fun moment with a loved one who is no longer with us. Because I think there’s nothing more special than looking at old photographs with your parents or your grandparents and listening to them telling the story behind a particular image, their faces brightened up.
Memories, emotions, love, fun, little details that we may have not realized at a given moment… there’s so much a photo can tell.
And I want to keep telling stories and freezing special moments in time forever.
